Gaming Welfare Council (GWC) is proud to announce the launch of Gaming Village – Esports Experience Zone at the Maghey Sankranti Mela 2026, hosted at Green Park, Jorethang, South Sikkim by Government of Sikkim.
This initiative marks a major milestone in India’s esports journey — as a complete gaming experience is introduced inside a traditional cultural festival for the very first time in Sikkim.
Gaming Village is designed to promote:

✔ esports awareness
✔ community engagement
✔ youth participation
✔ and positive digital culture
All under the guidance of the Gaming Welfare Council.
